Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is popularly known as DDLJ. The movie was turnout the biggest hit of the Shah Rukh Khan’s career. DDLJ was produced by Yash Chopra & directed by his son Aditya Chopra. The movie was released in the year 1995 October 20 during Diwali period. The movie was first offered to Salman Khan. where the star had a different reason behind for every rejection of movies but for this, no specific reason was revealed.

Baazigar

Baazigar was the film which brought actor Shah Rukh Khan into the limelight. The movie was an unofficial remake of Hollywood movie A Kiss Before Dying (1991). This Abbas – Mustan directed venture was first offered to Salman Khan but the lead role as an anti-hero character that’s why that’s he rejected it. In a reality show, the star has claimed that mother role/character was added to the movie after his father Salim Khan’s suggestion.

Kal Ho Naa Ho

Another successful movie rejected by Salman Khan. A movie which was highly critically acclaimed at that time. Salman Khan was offered Rohit character later which was played by Saif Ali Khan. The reason for the rejection was Salman Khan didn’t want to play side role against Shah Rukh Khan.

Ghajini

Ghajini was the 1st movie to collect 100 Crores net in Domestic Boxoffice. It is a remake of 2005 superhit Tamil movie of the same name with the same director. Aamir Khan was the one who suggested Salman Khan’s name for this movie & it got rejected by Salman then the character was played by Mr. Perfectionist himself.

Chak De India

Chak De India is one of the most loved sports movies by Indian audience. The character of “Kabir Khan” was written by Jaideep Sahni keeping Salman in mind. Yet again movie got rejected by the superstar Salman Khan. Later Shah Rukh Khan got a Chance to pottery the character of Kabir Khan Who did proper justice to this role.
